Welcome to the Aberfeldy Drama Club Website
We are based in the Highland Perthshire town of Aberfeldy where the club has been active, with a few gaps, for nearly a century!
We normally put on three productions a year including one at Christmas and either one or two entries into the Scottish Community Drama Association's One Act Play Festival where we have achieved considerable success. (see About Us for more history). We are always on the lookout for keen new members of all ages (particularly males) whether to act or to assist with any other aspect of theatre production. Please contact us for further details. |

Development of the Old Kirk
The thick end of £100,000 has been spent on the old Kirk purchasing it, dealing with the dry rot and fixing the windows.
The new stage, dressing room, insulated ceiling and lighting gantry makes for far more productive rehearsing.

Ae Fond Kiss
This is a play about growing up and redemption by Anne Marie di Mambro. A young man celebrates his eighteenth birthday with a prostitute. The humour, fragility and complications of their situation, and of life, come alive through the excellent acting of Aaron O’Neill and Nicola Stewardson. |
Dear Mum
This is the true story of the children from the east end of Glasgow who were evacuated to Aberfeldy in September 1939. Life in Highland Perthshire was transformative for some and traumatic for others. |
Christmas Production 2018
Last year's colourful Christmas show was a combination of music hall acts and memories/songs from the First World War, chosen to mark the centenary of the end of hostilities.
